On the main page this site is describes as a 'privately wikified public blog and thought repository'. Here is what is meant by that:

This is a private wiki. By that I mean to say the editing of the wiki is private. While I may be able to incorporate a commenting or feedback mechanism, I am currently troubled by a problem with Ajax and PHP where it is not saving session variables properly. :{

(Though I have managed to get a contact me page working...)

By which to say this is a wiki. not in spirit, as a true wiki allows anyone to edit anything, but because it's private (see above) that part of the wiki has been disabled. I chose a wiki format because it's simple, consistent, easy to edit, and easy to cross-link information.

In addition to 'articles' I hope to publish blog-like entries, which is to say dated updates on thoughts and events in my life.

I aim to have this site hold the results of various ruminations. Because most of my ruminations tend to be Bible based, I expect much of the content to reflect that. What you read here may not be my final conclusion on a matter, but simply a step on the road to some other conclusion.

This site is hosted on http://www.islandnet.com, which in my estimation is the best ISP in the world! They offer an incredible range of services, pre-built web gadgets, rock solid reliability, top notch tech support, all at extremely competitive prices. Of all vendors or companies I deal with, they would receive my most unreserved endorsement.
